Meet Heather Wilson OTR/L

Helping People Live Safely, Confidently, and Independently at Home

With more than 15 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals regain function, maintain independence, and safely navigate life's transitions.

Throughout my work in hospitals, rehabilitation settings, and home environments, I have seen firsthand how the right living environment can dramatically improve safety, confidence, and quality of life. I also witnessed the challenges many individuals and families face when trying to determine how to adapt a home to meet changing needs.

Adaptive Living Designs was created to bridge that gap.

My mission is to help older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families make informed decisions about home safety, accessibility, and long-term independence. Through comprehensive assessments and personalized recommendations, I provide practical solutions that support both current and future needs.

Whether you are planning ahead, recovering from an injury, caring for a loved one, or seeking ways to age in place safely, my goal is to help you create a home environment that promotes comfort, confidence, and peace of mind.
